IMovie Support of Digital Dolby 5.1

I just put my deposit down on the new Sony HDR-CX520V (due in the US in September, 2009). It has Digital Dolby 5.1, and the reviews are just going nuts over how excellent the audio is in 5.1. One of the test reports talked about using it on the "Jurasic Park" ride at Universal Studios, and how awesome the sounds were, with all of their spacial separations, and then being able to hear the guy doing the recording as if his vocie was coming from the rear.
Anyways, having said that, does iMovie '09 support 5.1, without having to do any workarounds, girations, and the like?
Thanks, in advance, for any help on this!
Larry
