How many users can login simultanisly in Fast user mode?

at one time, i saw in one of the threads that only 3 users can log on to the Mac using Fast user switching. i tried that, and sure enough, i couldn't log in more than 3 users at one time.
today, i tried logging in with 10 users, and i had no problem.
was that ever an issue with fast user switching, or was it only my computer?

I have seen mailstores with up to 750,000 actual users. I have seen Directories with 2 million entries, of which less than half were active mail users. You're not running into a product limitation. . .
