if i download DIRECTLY to the SD card, does it' by pass my SSD all together. i download TONS of data (photos and videos) daily to edit and delete or pass to someone else that my SSD's ACTUALLY get affected by how much write/deletes i have constantly going... i want to save my ssd's performance by writing to the SD card. Will this logic work? or does it write to the hard drive first then "pass" it along to the SD Card?

Hi, stackz07
If you are downloading files directly to the SD card, then your SSD should not be affected. What may be occurring is that you're downloading so much so frequently on your machine that the system is just under load. Even if you are downloading and saving things directly to your SD card, the SSD is still going to be performing actions and reading and writing files and programs that are ocurring when you are doing this.
Hope it helps,
Adam
