WUA ANNOUNCEMENT

SECOND YEAR TRAINING PROGRAM TO BEGIN

To all WUA Associate members or umpires with acceptable experience, who want to join the WUA. The WUA has developed a second level training program to expand on 2 man mechanics and plate work. This program will be 6 sessions from 6:30-9:00 Pm on Wednesday evenings at Heritage Christian High School. The cost is $60, which includes your membership fee of $30 as well as the 2010 Baseball Mechanics Guidebook from Referee Magazine as your text. There will be gym work, plate work in the cage and classroom discussions on rules interpretations.

All second year students who successfully completed the first year training program in 2009 are highly encouraged to attend and will upon completion, obtain their WUA Regular Member status.

We will open up enrollment for other umpires who have completed the training classes in the past depending on availability.
